What is the Enneagram? The Enneagram is an effective tool for transforming our relationships with ourselves and others. The Enneagram (any-a-gram) is a personality system that provides insight into the nine strategies people use to cope with the many demands of life. Each strategy is attempting to fulfill important needs we all have, needs such as safety, love, belonging, and a sense of worth. However, the ways we attempt to fulfill these needs vary greatly. When we become more aware of the needs that motivate our behavior and the behavior of others, we begin to see ourselves and others through the eyes of curiosity and compassion. No prior familiarity or experience with the Enneagram is required.

This introductory workshop, led by Anissa Ferris ( MSW, LCSW and certified teacher of the Enneagram) is taught from a Christian perspective and in the Narrative Tradition, through which panels comprised of each Enneagram type share their experiences. This powerful format explains the gifts and struggles of each personality type and provides participants with new skills for understanding the people in their life.
